What a great pleasure to hear jiva twice in a week. Firstly at the Davy Lamp Folk Club and then at the Clarence in Blackpool.
An act maturing with every show, and now displaying that precious ability to write songs that capture an audience's heart.
The song about best friends is a pure winner. Superb!!!

Jimmy and Val performed a lovely variety of songs using some fantastic equipment and many members enjoyed drooling over their fabulous Taylor guitars.
Their set was gentle and enchanting with some wonderful harmonies which made for a special guest night. We hope to see you both back at the Foggy Furze soon.

Not only do the visuals match but the co-ordination of timing, harmonies and choice of material was as usual, excellent.
Ashington Folk Club

This is exactly the kind of thing that will go down really well with our listeners.
I’m sending it on to all our presenters for them to use in their programmes.

With their distinctive colour coordinated stage outfits and combination of guitar styles and harmonies, jiva have secured their own niche as singers and songwriters.

It was really great to meet you both at The Pot House.
“Galway To Graceland” was especially moving and your excellent interpretation of “Sonny” just took us by surprise.

Just listening to "One More Song +" CD whilst doing final Christmas present wrapping.
Thanks again for your music - I find it soothing, emotional and just what music should be - thought provoking. And most of the thoughts bring back very happy memories for me.
Keep doing it!

jiva were marvellous, closing the evening with a beautiful rendition of their lovely song “Some Way Home”.
All the guitar geeks present were drooling over the Taylors - but even the best guitars in the world need to be played well to sound great - and these were. Respect.
Candlelite Folk Club, Newton Aycliffe

That was divine - you are a pair of angels.
The Plough, Staining

jiva are almost a legend in themselves - I can’t get enough of their exquisite and gentle playing/singing.
I don’t know what it is they have that’s so special, but I do know they have lots of it.

You sounded fantastic on Bishop FM tonight - thanks for playing 'Some Way Home' for me.
You now have a fan in Wisconsin as a result.
